Our products
Roterno is described as the royalty, or at least the nobility, of tomatoes—akin to a duchess or someone of similar rank. Its cultivation and care require delicate attention, making it unsuitable for mass production. The meticulous tending ensures each Roterno cluster has 5-6 tomatoes, achieved by trimming the blossoms during the flowering stage to evenly distribute and concentrate the branch's nutrients, reducing waste.

Our Roternos are harvested ripe and continue to ripen even after being packaged. Known for their rich, low-acid flavor and high sugar content, Roternos are versatile in cooking but best enjoyed in fresh salads, on bread.
Roterno
Our roterno is a fruit as sweet as candy, which can cause a taste addiction
Piccolo is the smallest member of the Funtomato crew, as sweet as the famous green jellies but about a hundred times healthier.

Like their larger cousins, the Roternos, Piccolos also enjoy hanging out in clusters, so they are harvested ripe in their bunches and delivered to well-stocked supermarkets in 100% recyclable containers.

If Funtomato's Roterno is considered the royalty of tomatoes, Piccolo stands just as far from ordinary tomatoes as a Grand Cru from table wine. Piccolos are carefully bred over decades to offer exclusive, strawberry-like flavor experiences.

Our Encore is designed for big appetites, perfect for making a family-sized Bolognese as taught by "Mamma Mia," but in a larger pot.

A blind test showed that two out of three European consumers chose Encore as the best tomato. Funtomato is one of the few greenhouses still growing them, as other, easier-to-care-for varieties better suit industrial harvesting, sorting, and storage.

Encore tomatoes are harvested ripe, hand-sorted, and delivered directly to local supermarkets, preserving their juicy, robust, and slightly tangy flavor.
Encore
Better too much than too little
🍅
Encore is a versatile and reliable choice for any situation. It has a firm texture, long shelf life, and high sugar content, making it suitable for a wide range of culinary uses – from salads and soups to toppings for bread and pasta sauces.
There are thousands of tomato varieties, each with its unique flavor, shape, size, and color. Sebu tastes them across Europe every winter to select the sweetest and most suitable ones for Funtomato.

The newest addition that delights the taste buds is the medium-sized cluster tomato Vertion. It's smaller than our classic Roterno but larger than our smallest, strawberry-like Piccolo.
Vertion
"Just right" or "exactly what is needed"
🍅
Vertion is described as rich and low-acid, perfectly sized for easy eating—a "lagom," as a Swede might say. It's versatile, great both cold and warm, from snacking to grilling, covering everything in between.
Mothers often remind their kids (and especially dads) to remember to eat their greens. Well, we decided to make following this wise advice easy and tasty.

Funtomato's new Gourami tomato remains green even when ripe, easily deceiving the eye but truly delighting the taste. Gourami is perfect—healthy yet crisply citrus-sweet. This green delicacy has won over people everywhere it's been tasted.
Piccolo & Gourami
The Funtomato Compromise: The Healthiest, Yet Sweetest
🍅
Gourami is particularly great for adding sweetness to salads or for snacking on its own. It's sold across the nation in handy-sized mix boxes, which include Gourami along with Piccolo.
Our NAMS are sold in beautiful, sealed containers for several reasons: The most important being that no one else has touched our tomatoes before you open the box at home. It's a common sight to see people in stores handling tomatoes in bulk bins.

And yes, as many of you already know, but it's always good to remind: keep NAMS in their containers at room temperature to continue ripening and drawing nutrients from their stems.

Our cluster tomatoes, Roterno and Piccolo, should be enjoyed in the order they ripen, starting from the thicker end of the vine. This way, they keep ripening and draw more nutrients from the vine, unless, as often happens to us, you end up devouring them all at once after getting a taste.
And then, some greetings and a few little tomato tips for you at home by the fridge
